Create Custom Survey Questions [Upcoming]
Customize the survey-taking experience to fulfill unique use cases and provide expanded feature sets with the new Survey Question Plugin!
Formally-supported interfaces and SDKs enable you to confidently build custom survey questions and seamlessly share them with Qualtrics customers at scale.
With Survey Question Plugins you can:
- Enable users to configure both the behavior and look and feel of your custom questions just as they would with questions from the standard Qualtrics library
- Embed questions from external platforms
- Customize how respondent input into your question gets stored in the survey response
This feature is available in a limited preview, take this survey to apply for it!
Embed iFrame Visualizations into Qualtrics [Available]
Drop in externally-hosted widgets into Qualtrics dashboards
Externally-hosted widgets must match part of the file names and structure of their counterpart Qualtrics-hosted ones.
Validate Connection Accounts During Setup [Available]
Reduce user pain by validating their authentication connection accounts during Extension configuration
Qualtrics users frequently enter invalid credentials when creating Connection Accounts for various Extensions and don’t realize they are invalid until Plugin runtime, which results in a painful and frustrating user experience.
Previously there was no way for developers to validate Connection Accounts during the creation process. But that has changed with the Account Validation feature!
Account Validation enables you to prevent this poor user experience by both validating the connection account input values as well as performing an API call to test the provided credentials during the Connection Account creation process.
Removal of Extension Submission Email Reports [Upcoming]
Extension submission email reports will no longer arrive in your inbox starting September 23rd, 2022
When the Extension SDK was first released, the only way you could find out about your Extension submission status was to wait for an email to arrive in your inbox with the relevant details.
